- Allocated within the Adopted South Somerset Local Plan (2006) for Employment Purposes
- Proposal for up to 600,000 sq. ft. of B1 employment floorspace set within 40 acres of landscaped parkland
- Planning application submitted 16th November 2006
Delivery
The potential phase one development will comprise the proposed traffic light filter junction from the Western Relief Road and the buildings adjacent to the tree lined central avenue moving towards the proposed central square.
With up to 600,000 sq.ft of employment floorspace proposed, this will be largely developed on a demand responsive basis, but an element of speculative development to 'pump-prime' the project is proposed.
Further details of the first phase development will be released as determination of the outline planning application progresses.
