Sept 2025 – Scheme Update – David Lloyd Leisure secures planning permission for Plot E Bunford Park
David Lloyd have secured planning permission for a new health club with gym, exercise studios, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an internal spa and an external spa garden.
The new facility will be located on Plot E Bunford Park, accessed from Watercombe lane. The plans received approval in August 2025 and the delivery of the same accords with the Bunford Park masterplan, providing excellent amenity for the wider park, Yeovil and beyond. The club will deliver an anticipated 100 full time jobs. Other areas of the club include indoor and outdoor tennis courts, padel courts, an activity area and lounge facilities which will include a business hub and terrace.
